About the Contest
Mission
A business contest for high school students, led by high school students. We exist to unlock student agency: to help high schoolers identify problems, create solutions, and present those ideas confidently to the world.
Vision
We aim to make student-led challenges a seedbed for future innovation and community leadership — where young people lead learning, practice, and impact that echo beyond the classroom.

Background
We launched this contest because high schoolers need more spaces to freely express creative business thinking. By combining Komuro Consulting’s long-standing program experience with MiRyze’s international student network, the Winter Contest offers a rare mix: multilingual accessibility, student-led operations, and hands-on, practice-oriented learning. Building on the success of previous seasonal competitions, this winter edition raises the bar for inclusivity and real-world readiness.
Eligibility
Contestants:
Open to current high school students anywhere in Japan or abroad. Individuals or teams (up to 10 members) may apply. The selection process includes application screening → midterm presentation → final presentation. Submissions and presentations can be made in multiple languages. Parental or guardian consent is required for participation.
Judges:
Judging is led by professionals from Komuro Consulting and MiRyze — plus current high school student judges. Inviting students into the judging panel ensures that peer perspectives directly shape evaluation and outcomes. Senior advisors from Komuro Consulting additionally support mentorship and program quality.
